Aico launches CO Alarm specification selector

27th April 2012

Following the launch of the Smoke Alarm Specification Selector for its comprehensive range of mains powered smoke and heat fire alarms, Aico has developed a second unique Specification Selector to encompass its Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms.

Available exclusively in the ‘Specifier & Architects’ section of the Aico website (www.aico.co.uk), the new CO Alarm Specification Selector is an easy to use tool to make producing a robust CO specification quick and simple.

Following a simple four step process, the Specification Selector guides the user through residential property types, including houses and HMOs; the level of protection necessary; any additional audibility or coverage required, with the option to add these through hard wiring or Aico’s RadioLINK Professional wireless interconnect system; and lastly, the choice of mains or battery powered alarms.  With each option comes a brief description, allowing the user to make an informed decision.  At the end of the process, a professional pre-written specification document tailored around the choices made can be downloaded.

Aico’s full range of CO alarms are covered in the new CO Alarm Specification Selector, including its advanced Ei262 mains powered alarm incorporating RadioLINK Professional wireless interconnection technology and the new range of quality, cost-effective Lithium battery powered alarms designed to encourage widespread adoption of this life saving technology.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Ei Electronics, Aico is the first name in residential fire and CO protection in the UK.  All alarms are designed and built in Europe specifically to meet the UK standards and regulations.  For more information, please go to www.aico.co.uk.
