The Elite 2 from Dextra showcases a number of new LED and fluorescent products that have, or are due to, hit the market in early 2011. The new products really go a long way to promoting the Dextra brand as a major player in the areas of new and innovative lighting technologies. 14 new products are profiled, with a major focus on LED technology and energy efficient T5 luminaires. The products featured include:
ProTec LED
Forming part of the well established ProTec range, the LED offers lumen output packages up to 3000lm making it suitable as a primary light source for high end specifications, such as receptions, offices, retail, corridors, meeting rooms, airports and educational establishments. With impressive energy cost savings (with short capital cost payback periods) over its fluorescent equivalents, it is an ideal option to tie in with environmental management policies, requiring a commitment to energy reduction.
PTECG LED
Introduced to add a low maintenance addition to the established PTEC range the PTECG LED is a gimble downlighter incorporating a 7W LED lamp producing 35o beam angle. The PTECG is offered in a brushed chrome finish.
Revox LED
The Revox T5 fluorescent was launched in the Autumn 2009 edition of the Elite brochure. The thought process behind Revox was to offer multiple options when attempting single luminaire compliance to EN 12464-1 and CIBSE LG7. 2011 sees the range develop further as we announce the introduction of the Revox LED. Utilising the latest Fortimo LLM module, the ecologically sound Revox LED really adds weight to a growing stable of LED products whilst offering further choice when considering compliant luminaires.
Combi Plus
Low budget specifications using exposed T ceilings more often than not require a simple lift and tilt luminaire to fit. For
many years the Combi luminaire has filled this niche. However, with recent changes to L2 and ECA, luminaires must now achieve a higher level of performance in order to comply, resulting in many budget luminaires falling short. With
this in mind we have revised our lay-in offering. The improved Combi Plus, utilising the new AWB closed back louvre, can
now not only offer all important compliance, but also return impressive energy cost savings due to its superior performance. The 3x14W model can achieve equivalent performance to many 4x14W alternatives when specified with
the correct AWB louvre; on average returning a 25% reduction in running costs.
Duet T5
Well established within the Dextra Lighting portfolio of surface luminaires, the Duet has grown to become a major force in the UK commercial lighting market. In order to prolong its success and meet with an ever increasing demand for higher
performing, energy conscious, T5 alternatives, the Duet T5 has undergone a complete redesign. The improved model offers a number of key features such as an integral 3W LED emergency, integral presence and daylight detection which can can be programmed from ground level using the Dexsor REA-AC, new higher performing AWB louvre, slimmer body profile suitable for direct mounting or suspension and the option of stand alone or continuous run application.
