The latest addition to the recently launched HDView CCTV range from leading security products supplier, ESP, is an AHD compatible Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) camera offering true 720P HD image.
AHD is the latest solution for transmitting full 720P HD digital video in a CCTV surveillance system. AHD delivers high definition video using digital TV (DTV) transmission.
AHD leverages the extremely robust AV transmission capability of DTV to easily and seamlessly upgrade an analogue CCTV surveillance system to digital full HD.
ESP’s new HDVCPTZ-AHD External PTZ camera has a motorised mechanism for remote control of the camera’s lens, allowing large areas to be covered with a single camera. This mechanism offers a full pan, tilt and zoom operation, whilst enabling a 360 degree endless pan rotation function.
The camera features a 5-50mm varifocal lens, with a 10x optical zoom functionality to deliver exceptional image quality – making it ideal for commercial applications where detailed surveillance is required. It offers up to 50m IR night illumination and has an IP66 rated housing to protect it from dust and rain.
Easy and secure installation is central to the design and several mounting options are available, allowing an installer to adapt to the end user’s site requirements.
