Hager recall 10kA MCBs

11th October 2016

Hager have identified that in their internal quality process control, a raw material non-conformity has been detected.

This raw material non-conformity could affect the correct functioning of Hager 10kA MCB with references as indicated in Appendix CP1 produced between 7th July 2016 and 25th September 2016.

Based on their investigations, this non-conformity could lead to a potential MCB malfunction which may cause fire or electrical shock danger.

For this reason, on the basis of the Precautionary Principle and user safety, they have made the decision to recall Hager 10kA MCB references concerned.

To ensure maximum effectiveness of the operation and to prevent or, at least, minimise danger and risk to users and installers, the following support and cooperation is absolutely essential.

  1. Stop sales of the Hager 10kA MCB references concerned (Listed in Appendix CP1).
