Heat Mat manufactures a large range of winter heating solutions for melting dangerous ice and snow.
They have added a number of new products to their frost protection range this winter, including a UK manufactured hot asphalt cable for installation under new Tarmac driveways, ramps or paths and a new temporary outdoor heating mat.
The new cables, referred to as HTC, can provide an automated solution for eradicating dangerous ice and snow on disabled access ramps or underground car parking. They are currently being specified to meet health and safety requirements at new developments.
The new temporary outdoor heating mat is 0.8m wide x 6m in length and suitable for thawing ground under paths or outside buildings where a safe access route is required throughout the day. The portable mat can be moved around as needed and rolled up for storage.
Heat Mat’s ice and snow systems are suitable for a huge range of domestic and commercial uses including heating steep driveways, protecting roofs and gutters or temperature maintenance of water pipes.
