GreenBrook Electrical has appointed Colin Kirkland as the company’s new area sales manager for Scotland in response to rapidly expanding sales in the Scottish market.
Colin’s appointment marks the first time that GreenBrook has ever employed a full time area sales manager for Scotland, having previously entrusted its Scottish customers to an agent. The move marks a major milestone for the company north of the border and will see Colin take on responsibility for sales and customer support across GreenBrook’s PowerBreaker, KingShield and Norslo ranges from the Borders up to the Highlands, including the major wholesalers in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Originally trained as an electrician, Colin began his career at 16 with an apprenticeship and worked for an electrical contractor. He then developed his career in the wholesale sector in various sales roles before moving across to work in sales for electrical manufacturers. He joins GreenBrook from a branch manager role with a major electrical wholesaler, where he routinely dealt with products from the GreenBrook range.
