GreenBrook Electrical has extended its KingShield range of mechanical thermostats with the addition of four new products, bringing the total number of thermostats in the range to six.
Designed for hot water cylinders or pipes, the new KingShield Cylinder/Pipestat provides a control mechanism to deliver automatic switch off of the hot water system when the water reaches the selected optimum temperature. Suitable for domestic, commercial or industrial installations, the thermostat simply clamps onto the cylinder or pipe, allowing the end user to select their desired switch off temperature and offering a simple, convenient and energy efficient solution.
For commercial applications, the new KingShield Tamperproof Room Thermostat provides a simple to use mechanical control for central heating systems with a screwed down tamperproof lid. This enables a building manager to set the heating to a pre-determined heat setting and ensure that this cannot be altered by the building’s occupants.
The new additions to the range also include two new KingShield Froststats, which are available in a standard and a tamperproof version with screw down lid. Designed to prevent pipe bursts and frost damage to unoccupied buildings, the new Froststats switch the heating system on automatically when the temperature drops below the selected minimum temperature. Suitable for domestic, commercial and industrial applications, the Froststats are particularly useful for buildings that are left unoccupied overnight, during holidays or for weekend closures.
