GreenBrook launches Kingshield adjustable energy Hand Dryer

10th September 2012

Greenbrook has extended its range of KingShield hand dryers with the launch of a low energy hand dryer with adjustable energy settings that provide a safe hand drying solution for any environment.

The new hand dryer allows the user to select from a 500w or 1000w setting in a single wall mounted unit, offering effective and energy-efficient drying at half the power consumption required by a traditional hand dryer.  Providing a drying air speed of 18.5m/second and automatic hands-free operation, it is ideal for use in schools, care homes, leisure centres and light commercial buildings as it will dry hands quickly without any risk of burning even the most sensitive of hands.

The new hand dryer unit adds to the KingShield 1800w PVC hand dryer and KingShield 2400w aluminium/steel hand dryer already offered by GreenBrook, ensuring that there is a product available within the range to suit any application. The ABS PVC housed unit draws on the design excellence and quality of the other products in the range, offering overheat thermal cut out protection and a double-insulated housing with all fixings included to ensure that it can be easily wall-mounted.

Giles Lillistone, Technical and Quality Manager, GreenBrook comments: “Increasingly the low carbon agenda is affecting all elements of specification and in high occupancy buildings use of hand dryers can have a significant impact on energy consumption.  This new KingShield unit allows the user to choose between low energy and ultra-low energy settings while still benefitting from excellent drying speed, safety and functionality.”
