Leading security products supplier, ESP, has made a number of new appointments as the company continues to grow and develop.
Joining the sales division are Barry Lawton and Andy Parton who take up area sales manager roles, Barry covering the north west of England and Andy the East Midlands.
Barry brings a wealth of industry expertise, gained during his time spent with a British manufacturer where he worked closely with wholesalers and large distributors, as well as a number of years with a national cable distributor, responsible for the national buying groups and key account development. As well as growing existing business, Barry will be developing new routes to market for the expanding product portfolio.
Andy joins ESP with valuable hands on experience gained from five years spent on the trade counter of an independent electrical wholesaler, followed by a two year period servicing and maintaining fire alarms and emergency lighting systems.
Taking up the position of product development and logistics co-ordinator is Matt Parton, who has worked in the technical department at ESP for seven years, where his responsibilities included providing valuable customer service support, product testing and training. His new role will involve the development of new products for the ESP portfolio, covering all aspects from research, sourcing and prototype testing, to bringing the products to market.
